Some people feel 'Why Bother with Church?' was a very negative title, almost dismissive; I thought it captured precisely what the book was about. At the end of the day, one is in the hands of the publisher and what they think they can shift. Thanks for the commendation, though; I really appreciate it - and I'll come armed with copies to sell when I visit.simonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13470335172330595542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9901815.post-48771041936884491612007-04-01T19:03:00.000+01:002007-04-01T19:03:00.000+01:00Hi Simon. I have read its previous two incarnations and found it stimulating and provocative and will recommend it to people. We encouraged loads of people in the church to buy and read and discuss earlier incarnations. One downside - I personally preferred earlier titles and look - seemed to me to better to capture radicalism of ideas inside - but hey what do I know and from your blog it is clear that others have responded positively to this new look. Bring a few with you on your trip up here later in year?Stuart Blythehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08107195255166362803noreply@blogger.com
