To be honest, I'm not sure what the image represents though I do know it's a detail from a stained glass window. The trouble with books on the church is that designers always think anglican buildings, so there were a lot of covers that I couldn't live with. In terms of who the book's aimed and what the cover tells us about that - I think it's trying to say that it's a serious book for strugglers and leaders alike to help them get to grips with how we can create better churches by talking to each other. But that's just a guess.simonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13470335172330595542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9901815.post-1169501388503461202007-01-22T21:29:00.000+00:002007-01-22T21:29:00.000+00:00I'm guessing the picture relates to my favourite m...I'm guessing the picture relates to my favourite metaphor in the book. That life in church is a bed of roses, it's beauty leaves you breathless, the thorns can rip you apart.

It's a lot prettier than the previous cover, looks aimed at a different market?Jonathanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12511575294809131898noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9901815.post-1169493798557197792007-01-22T19:23:00.000+00:002007-01-22T19:23:00.000+00:00Yes.
